Unaltered Augsburg Confession -- the same confession presented to Emperor Charles V on June 25, 1530, to explain the Lutheran teachings on several controversies in the Church. This confession shows that the Lutherans teach only that which is drawn from the Bible, not from human tradition. The author of the Augsburg Confession, Dr. Philip Melanchthon, made editorial changes to the Confession, but these were rejected by the Lutheran Church.
